Will a Breast Lift Decrease My Breast Size?

Breast Lift in Philadelphia, PAThe breast lift is one of the most well-known and popular plastic surgery procedures nowadays. That being said, there are still many misconceptions around the procedure and what it can do for our patients. Let’s take a deeper dive into the breast lift, so you know exactly what you can expect during and after your surgery.

What is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift is a surgical cosmetic procedure that involves enhancing the shape and position of the breasts on the chest without adding or removing any volume. This means that a breast lift can rejuvenate the appearance of your chest without affecting your overall bra size or the size of your breasts. Patients who receive a breast lift typically wish to have breasts that better suit their natural frame without drastically changing their overall appearance.

What are the Benefits of a Breast Lift?

There are many benefits to receiving a breast lift with Dr. Emily Pollard, including:

  • Enhances the overall shape of the breast
  • Lifts the breasts on the chest for a more youthful appearance
  • Does not add volume to the breasts or use breast implants
  • Does not take away from the volume of the breasts or make them smaller

What’s the Difference Between a Breast Lift and Breast Reduction?

Patients who are looking to get a breast lift are typically worried that they will end up losing some volume in their breasts. In reality, patients who wish to remove volume from their breasts will need a breast reduction. Unlike a breast lift, a breast reduction removes excess fat and breast tissue from the breasts to reduce their overall size while enhancing their shape and position on the chest. A breast lift, however, does not remove this fat or tissue resulting in the same size breasts that have a more youthful shape and position.

Can I Get a Breast Lift and Breast Augmentation at the Same Time?

Yes, you can absolutely get a breast lift and breast augmentation at the same time. For patients who are concerned about maintaining their original volume, we sometimes encourage small breast implants to be introduced into the chest during surgery. This will ensure that the patient has the extra, full volume they desire when rejuvenating the appearance of their chest. If you feel this may be the right option for you, we encourage you to ask Dr. Emily Pollard during your private consultation.

Is a Breast Lift Right for Me?

If you’re looking for a procedure to enhance the overall shape and position of your breasts without affecting their natural volume, a breast lift may be right for you. The best way to find out if a breast lift is right for you is to schedule a private consultation with Dr. Pollard. She’ll be happy to sit down with you, listen to you concerns, and develop a fully personalized treatment plan to help you reach your ultimate aesthetic goals.

We hope we were able to answer some of your questions about the breast lift. If you still want to learn more about the procedure, or believe you’re a good candidate for a breast lift, contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Is a Breast Lift Painful?

Breast Lift in Philadelphia, PAIf you’ve been considering a breast lift, you’ve probably also wondered what the healing process of a breast lift involves. One of our patients’ biggest concerns about a breast lift is the pain that comes along with it. We’re here to tell you that you don’t have to be afraid of post-operative pain and discomfort. Let’s take a deep dive into what a breast lift is, what you can expect during your breast lift procedure, and how you can best manage your discomfort following your surgery.

What is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift is a surgical cosmetic procedure that involves lifting the position of the breasts on the chest without adding or removing volume from the breast itself. Unlike other breast procedures, a breast lift does not increase or decrease your breast size at all – rather, a breast lift simply creates a more flattering shape and appearance that better compliments your natural frame.

What Can I Expect During my Breast Lift?

Your breast lift surgery will be completely tailored to you, your body, and your desired results. That being said, there are a few things that you can expect during your procedure. Your breast lift will be performed under general anesthesia. Once asleep, Dr. Emily Pollard will make a series of incisions around the breast, through which she will be able to better shape the breasts to enhance their overall shape and position on the chest. She will then close your incisions, and your healing process will begin.

What is Recovery After a Breast Lift Like?

Following your breast lift, you will be asked to wear a special surgical bra. This bra is specially designed to be comfortable and soft enough to not cause irritation following your procedure, but supportive enough to ensure you heal correctly. Dr. Pollard will be happy to provide you with a list of post-operative care instructions prior to your breast lift to ensure you have a quick and easy healing process. Patients typically make an initial recovery after about six weeks, and a full recover after about three to six months.

How Can I Manage My Pain After a Breast Lift?

When it comes to managing your pain following your breast lift, there are a few steps you can take. Dr. Emily Pollard and her team encourage the following:

  • Take prescription medication as instructed. Prescription pain medications can be intimidating, but are prescribed for a good reason. In small doses, these prescription medications allow for pain relief without causing blood thinning or bleeding. Keep in mind that these medications may cause constipation in small doses and can be dangerous when taken outside of Dr. Pollard’s instruction.
  • Over-the-counter medications are great too. Pollard, along with many other surgeons, may recommend taking over-the-counter pain medications like ibuprofen within the first few days of recovery to reduce swelling and help your prescription medications work more smoothly.

We hope we were able to answer some of your most pressing questions about breast lifts. If you still want to learn more about the procedure, contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Everything You Need to Know about Earlobe Repair

Earlobe Repair in Philadelphia, PAEarlobe repair is one of the most under-rated procedures offered at Pollard Plastic Surgery. This procedure not only helps men and women fix their torn earlobes, but it can also repair earlobes that have been intentionally or unintentionally stretched over years of wear. Let’s go over everything you need to know about earlobe repair before you come in for your private consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard.

What is Earlobe Repair?

Earlobe repair or earlobe surgery is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that restores the appearance of earlobes that have undergone trauma, whether that means they have been stretched or torn. Patients who typically come in for earlobe repair find that their earlobes have been stretched by wearing heavy earrings over a number of years, or have intentionally stretched their earlobes with gauges in the past. Dr. Emily Pollard is happy to provide all of her patients a more natural-looking earlobe, no matter how severe the sagging, stretching or trauma may be.

Can Earlobe Repair Fix a Torn Earlobe?

Yes, earlobe repair can absolutely fix a torn earlobe. Dr. Emily Pollard is a highly trained board-certified plastic surgeon with years of experience. She is able to transform any patient’s earlobes to give them a more natural-looking, pre-damaged appearance. This includes earlobes torn by trauma, earlobes torn or stretched by wearing heavy earrings, earlobes intentionally stretched with the use of gauges, and earlobes that may not have ever had a natural shape.

Does Earlobe Repair Involve Surgery?

No, earlobe repair does not involve invasive surgery at all. This minimally invasive procedure involves the use of a local anesthetic and a few small stitches to create a more natural appearance to the earlobe. Patients are typically able to get their earlobe repair done within about 15 to 30 minutes depending on the severity of their condition.

How Long Does Earlobe Repair Take to Heal?

With proper care, earlobe repair can take anywhere between eight and 12 weeks to heal completely. During your healing process, Dr. Emily Pollard will provide you with a set of post-operative care instructions to ensure you have a quick and easy recovery. After your incisions have completely healed after eight to 12 weeks, you are free to re-pierce your ears and wear earrings as normal.

We hope we were able to answer some of your questions about earlobe repair. If you still want to learn more about the procedure, or believe you’re a good candidate for earlobe repair, contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Does Belly Fat Come Back After a Tummy Tuck?

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) in Philadelphia, PAOne of the biggest insecurities a lot of our patients have is the extra skin around their abdomens. Thankfully, a tummy tuck can help reduce the excess skin around the midsection and strengthen the abdominal muscles underneath the skin for a tighter, slimmer silhouette. That being said, there are still many misconceptions about what the tummy tuck can do for our patients. Let’s clear up where lines may be blurred and go over what a tummy tuck can and cannot do for you.

A Tummy Tuck CANNOT Help You Lose Weight

Contrary to popular belief, a tummy tuck does not help our patients lose the weight they think they’re going to. The goal of a tummy tuck is to tighten weakened abdominal muscles and remove excess hanging skin around the midsection to produce a tighter and more flattering core appearance. That being said, a tummy tuck does not help you get rid of excess fat around your midsection or help you lose those last stubborn couple of pounds. Any weight you do lose after surgery will be the weight of excess skin hanging around your belly area.

A Tummy Tuck CAN be Performed with Liposuction

While a tummy tuck can’t help you get rid of your unwanted belly fat, liposuction can. Liposuction is a surgical cosmetic procedure that uses a gentle vacuum system to permanently remove fatty tissues from the body for a sleek, slim appearance. Patients typically opt to receive liposuction in addition to their tummy tucks to help them get the smooth and tight silhouette they desire.

A Tummy Tuck CAN Increase Confidence in the Long Run

It’s no secret that a flat and tight core can increase someone’s confidence. Following their tummy tucks, our patients report feeling a brand new found confidence in themselves and their bodies. They report feeling more comfortable wearing more tight-fitting clothing, going to a pool or the beach without a worry, and even feeling more confident in their own intimates!

A Tummy Tuck CANNOT Prevent Future Weight Gain

While a tummy tuck sounds like a magical solution for many of our patients, it’s always important to keep in mind that a tummy tuck (or any cosmetic surgery) is not a permanent fix for any issue without the proper maintenance. A tummy tuck gives our patients the initial boost they need to get the body they desire, however, we encourage our patients to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle to ensure they maintain their results for the long-run.

Is a Tummy Tuck Right for Me?

If you’re looking for a procedure to help strengthen your abdominal muscles and tighten the skin around your midsection, a tummy tuck may be right for you. The best way to find out if a tummy tuck is right for you is to schedule a private consultation with Dr. Pollard. She’ll be happy to sit down with you, listen to your concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan just for you.

We hope we were able to answer some of your most pressing questions about the tummy tuck. If you still want to learn more about the procedure, or believe you’re a good candidate for a tummy tuck, contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. Is a Tummy Tuck Painful?

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) in Philadelphia, PAWhen considering any form of cosmetic surgery, many of the patients that come into our office are concerned about how painful the procedure is going to be. While there will be discomfort through any type of surgery, we don’t want our patients to be so scared of their healing process that they lose sight of the benefits they get with their procedure. Let’s talk about post-tummy tuck pain and how you can manage it for a smooth and swift recovery.

What is a Tummy Tuck?

Before getting into the nitty-gritty of how to manage your post-operative pain, let’s go over what will cause your discomfort following surgery. A tummy tuck is a surgical cosmetic procedure that involves tightening the skin around the abdomen for a tighter, flatter silhouette. During your procedure, Dr. Emily Pollard will make an incision from hip to hip. Through this incision she will tighten your abdominal muscles and pull the skin tight over the abdomen before trimming away excess tissue and closing the incision. The entire surgery typically takes a few hours to complete.

The Pain After a Tummy Tuck

When it comes to post-operative pain, it’s important to know why you’re feeling the discomfort that you’re feeling. Prior to a tummy tuck, the patient typically has a large amount of loose skin around their abdominal area, and their abdominal muscles or abdominal wall is generally weak. This may be caused by pregnancy, child birth, or an extreme weight loss. During your tummy tuck, Dr. Pollard tightens these core muscles and pulls the skin taut against the body for a brand new silhouette. This tension throughout the body is not something patients are typically used to, causing a great deal of discomfort before healing and adjusting to their new body.

Managing Your Post-Operative Pain

Dr. Pollard wants to ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible throughout your entire healing process. When it comes to managing your post-operative pain, we encourage you to take the following steps:

We hope we were able to answer some of your most pressing questions about tummy tuck pain. If you still want to learn more about the procedure, or believe you’re a good candidate for a tummy tuck, contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Top 5 Questions about CoolSculpting® Answered

CoolSculpting® has skyrocketed in popularity over the past few years, and for good reason. This non-invasive fat reduction treatment helps our patients contour their problem areas without the downtime and recovery period associated with traditional fat reduction procedures. Let’s take a deeper dive into the world of CoolSculpting® and answer our patients’ most frequently asked questions, so you know exactly what you can expect from this cutting-edge procedure.

1.     How long does CoolSculpting® last?

CoolSculpting® is a fat reduction procedure that uses advanced cryolipolysis technology to freeze fat in your treated areas, letting it exit the body through natural processes, and contour your trouble areas. When CoolSculpting® freezes fat until it dies off and leaves the body naturally, the eliminated fat is never replaced with new fat, meaning your CoolSculpting® results have the potential to be permanent. Like with other body contouring procedures like liposuction, it’s important to keep in mind that CoolSculpting® is not a replacement for a balanced diet and regular exercise routine, rather it helps boost the results of your already healthy lifestyle.

2.     Can CoolSculpting® make you fatter?

No, CoolSculpting® cannot make you fatter. If anything, CoolSculpting® will reduce the amount of fat in your treated areas by up to 25 percent when all of your cycles are complete. The only way you can gain fat and weight during your CoolSculpting® treatments is by excessively eating or discontinuing your exercise routine. Remember, this is not a replacement for your healthy lifestyle, but boosts your results to give you your ultimate desired appearance.

3.     How fast do you see results after CoolSculpting®?

We like to call CoolSculpting® a “transformative treatment process” because it may take several cycles over several weeks for you to see your desired results. With each CoolSculpting® treatment, a small amount of fat is frozen, and it takes time for the body to naturally eliminate that fat from your system. Patients typically start to see some fat reduction after about three weeks, with their ultimate desired results becoming visible after about three to four months following their last CoolSculpting® treatment.

4.     Are CoolSculpting® results permanent?

Because the fat you “lose” during your CoolSculpting® treatment is never replaced with new fat cells, the results of your CoolSculpting® treatments do have the potential to be permanent. That being said, it’s not completely impossible for you to gain weight following CoolSculpting®. Weight gain after treatment can cause the remaining fat cells in your body to swell and travel to the treated areas of the body, giving you the appearance of gaining new fat. This is why it’s important to keep a healthy and active lifestyle even after your CoolSculpting® treatments.

5.     How effective is CoolSculpting® for fat removal?

Our patients, as well as patients around the country, are all very satisfied with their CoolSculpting® treatments. The CoolSculpting® company claims that patients can lose up to 25 percent of fat in their treated areas in as early as one month following treatments. With so many positive reviews and results, it’s no wonder that patients are always asking about how they can benefit from CoolSculpting®.

Still have some questions about how CoolSculpting® can work for you? Contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Everything You Need to Know About Liposuction

Have you been going to the gym consistently and trying to eat healthy to no avail? You’re not alone. So many of our patients come in asking about their options to get the body they’ve always wanted when natural methods just aren’t working for them. We wanted to give you all the info you need about our most-requested fat loss procedure, liposuction.

How much weight can you lose with liposuction?

The reality of the situation is that liposuction should never be used as a method to lose weight, rather it should be a complement to an already healthy and active lifestyle. Think of lipo as the boost you need to get the curves you’ve been working hard for, rather than a way to cut corners. Liposuction should be used to improve your silhouette.

How safe is liposuction?

Liposuction is a very safe procedure, especially when performed by a double board-certified plastic surgeon like Dr. Emily Pollard. The procedure involves removing fat through a thin, hollow tube called a cannula that is attached to a vacuum-powered system. The fat is gently sucked through the cannula and removed from the body. Most patients experience tenderness, swelling and bruising around their treated areas following liposuction, and do not experience any more severe complications. If you do have specific concerns about your liposuction procedure, we encourage you to talk about them openly with Dr. Pollard during your one-on-one consultation. She’s more than happy to be there for you every step of the way to ensure your as comfortable and as confident as possible throughout your cosmetic journey.

What can you not do after liposuction?

Following your liposuction procedure, you’ll be asked to stop working, discontinue regular daily activities, and rest for the first seven to 10 days following your procedure. After about four weeks, Dr. Pollard will likely clear you to continue light workout routines at the gym or at home. You’ll also be asked to wear a compression garment following your procedure to reduce swelling, promote healing, and ensure your skin lays flat and tight against your body’s new contours.

How long is recovery after liposuction?

In all, it typically takes around 10 to 14 days to make a full initial recovery from your liposuction procedure, depending on how intensive your procedure is. After these 10 to 14 days, you’ll be able to return to most normal daily activities provided you wear your compression garment. Most patients fully heal and see the ultimate results of their liposuction treatment about six months to a year following their procedure. This is about the time that all swelling subsides and the body has settled into its new contours.

Does liposuction permanently remove fat?

Yes, liposuction does permanently remove fat from the treated areas. Once the fat is removed from the body, it is never replaced with new fat cells, meaning the results of your liposuction treatment have the potential to be permanent. That being said, it is still possible for you to gain weight following your liposuction procedure. In the event of a weight gain, the remaining fat cells in your body have the potential to swell up and migrate to the treated areas in which fat was removed, reversing the effects of your procedure. We highly encourage you to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle following your liposuction treatment to ensure you keep your desired results.

Do you still have questions about what to expect with your liposuction treatment? Feel free to contact us and schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Your Ultimate Guide to Dermal Fillers and Injectables

Dermal fillers and injectables are all over the market nowadays. With the convenience of getting rid of your fine lines and wrinkles in just a 30-minute appointment, everyone is coming in for these minimally invasive treatments. We wanted to answer some of our most frequently asked questions about dermal fillers and injectables for you, so you know exactly what you’re getting into before your consultation with Dr. Pollard.

What is the difference between dermal fillers and injectables?

While dermal fillers and Botox treatments look the same and appear to do the same thing, they are very different. Dermal fillers are typically made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring sugar in the body responsible for keeping our skin looking plump and youthful. Dermal fillers, like Juvederm® and Restylane®, just fill in the lost volume in the face. Dermal fillers are most often used to add volume to the lips and reduce fine lines or wrinkles around the lower two thirds of the face. Injectables, like Botox® and Dysport® on the other hand, temporarily relax the muscles in the face that cause fine lines and wrinkles. Injectables are best used around the upper third of the face, like around the forehead, eyes and brows.

How often should I get fillers?

How often you should get dermal fillers really depends on the type of filler you choose and how your body breaks down the filler gel over time. Typically, dermal fillers like Juvederm® and Restylane® last in the skin for anywhere between nine and 18 months at a time. Dr. Pollard will let you know when you should consider coming in for a touch-up treatment during your one-on-one consultation based on your personalized treatment plan.

Will fillers make my skin sag?

No, if anything, dermal fillers will do the opposite of making your skin sag. Dermal fillers work by replacing the lost volume in the skin with a hyaluronic acid-based gel. The hyaluronic acid in the gel bonds to water molecules under the skin and keep volume in your treated area for months at a time. By filling in lost volume, you’ll see a decrease in your fine lines, wrinkles and sometimes your sagging facial skin.

At what age should you get fillers?

While there is no perfect age to get dermal fillers, we typically see patients anywhere between 35 and 65 receiving dermal filler and injectable treatments. That being said, dermal fillers for adding volume to the lips, or lip injections, are very popular with patients closer to 25 years old. If you feel like you may be a good candidate for dermal filler treatments because you want to add volume to areas of your face that have thinned or sunken over time, come in for a consultation with Dr. Pollard. She’ll assess your skin and develop a personalized treatment plan for you based on your concerns and desired results.

Are injectables safe?

Absolutely! Dr. Emily Pollard would never offer them in the first place if they weren’t. What makes getting dermal filler and injectable treatments done with Dr. Emily Pollard even more safe is her expert injector certification. This certification is only given to the highest skilled plastic surgeons and is endorsed by American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. We guarantee you’ll get beautiful, natural-looking results with minimal swelling and bruising when coming in for treatments with Dr. Pollard.

Are you interested in learning more about which dermal fillers and injectable treatments may be right for your biggest problem areas? Contact us to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard today. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Top 5 Botox Questions Answered

Botox® is one of the most well-known names in the plastic surgery industry, but most of our patients aren’t quite sure what it does and how it’s used. Today, we wanted to clear up where lines have gotten blurred and give you answers to the questions you have about this popular rejuvenation gel.

1.     What does Botox® do to the face?

Botox® is best known for treating fine lines and wrinkles around the upper face. Botox® does this by temporarily relaxing the muscles in the treated area, so they don’t create the fine lines and wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions that we like to call “action wrinkles.” Botox® can also be used to treat other conditions like migraines and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) by temporarily freezing the areas that send the signals in the body to create discomfort.

2.     Where can you get Botox® injected?

Botox® is most commonly used to treat deep forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet around the eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, and bunny lines along the bridge of the nose. That being said, Botox® has also been used to create the illusion of fuller lips, create the appearance of more lifted, almond shaped eyes, stop excessive sweating in the hands and underarms, and reduce the onset of migraines.

3.     At what age should you start getting Botox®?

While there is no perfect age to start receiving Botox®, we typically see patients between the ages of 35 and 65 come in for regular treatments. We may recommend patients over the age of 65 to consider more invasive and more permanent facial rejuvenation procedures, such as a facelift or brow lift. Botox® can also be used to prevent premature signs of aging in patients who have not yet experienced frown lines and wish to ensure they don’t appear.

4.     What should I avoid after Botox®?

Because Botox® is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment, there really is no downtime or recovery period following your appointment with Dr. Pollard. We do highly recommend you avoid drinking, smoking and using any blood-thinning anti-inflammatory medication like Aspirin or ibuprofen following your Botox® treatment, as these will increase swelling and bruising in your treated areas. However, our patients are able to return to their normal daily routines, including work, immediately following treatment.

5.     How much time does it take for Botox® to work?

Botox® works by using the active ingredient, botulinum toxin, to temporarily freeze the muscles in the treated areas that are causing fine lines and deep wrinkles to appear. Because the active ingredient takes time to take effect in the muscles, it may take three to five days for you to see the full results of your Botox® treatment. That being said, your desired results typically last up to four months at a time, after which we recommend coming in to see Dr. Pollard for a touch-up.

Do you still have some unanswered questions about how you can benefit from Botox®? Feel free to contact us at your convenience and set up a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard. She’ll be there for you every step of the way to ensure you’re as comfortable and as confident as possible with your decision to get Botox® treatments. We are also offering virtual consultations, so you can get all of your questions answered in the comfort and safety of your very own home.

Make Them Say “Oh Mama!” with Your Mommy Makeover

Having kids is one of the most beautiful moments of your life, and you’re so happy to have brought your bundles of joy into this world. Your body, however, doesn’t feel the same and you’re starting to think it never will. With the help of a mommy makeover, you can restore your pre-pregnancy body and overall self-confidence. Here’s everything you need to know about our popular mommy makeover.

What does a mommy makeover consist of?

A mommy makeover is a fully personalized combination of body contouring, breast enhancement and rejuvenation procedures that helps to restore a woman’s pre-pregnancy body. A typical mommy makeover usually consists of:

What are the benefits of a mommy makeover?

The two biggest benefits of getting a mommy makeover are saving yourself recovery time and saving yourself money. By combining plastic surgery procedures together, you’ll be able to cut down on some major cash including facility fees, surgical fees and, sometimes, just general bundle discounts are added in. You’ll also be able to overlap your recovery periods, taking only a few weeks to recover from all of your desired procedures, instead of a cluster of a few weeks at a time in succession.

Do you lose weight after a mommy makeover?

When it comes to a mommy makeover, or any body contouring procedure, you should never use it as a means to lose weight. After a mommy makeover, many women may be able to give the illusion that they’ve lost weight with the help of gentle liposuction and a tummy tuck, however, it will not necessarily help your numbers on the scale. All body contouring procedures should be considered in addition to an already healthy and active lifestyle, not in replacement of one.

What is recovery time after a mommy makeover?

Contrary to popular belief, the recovery period for a typical mommy makeover is fairly quick. Patients make an initial recovery after about three weeks following their surgery, at which time they’re able to continue their normal daily activities including work. After about eight weeks, Dr. Pollard may clear you to begin a light exercise again and after about six months, you should be able to see the final results of your mommy makeover procedure.

Are mommy makeovers expensive?

As much as we’d love to give you a price range for a typical mommy makeover, we really can’t until you come in for your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard. This is because your mommy makeover is going to be completely personalized to your body and your desired results. If you’re curious about how much your mommy makeover would cost, we encourage you to come in and talk to Dr. Pollard in your free time. We also offer financing options to help make paying for your procedure a little more manageable.

Do you still have questions about your mommy makeover? Feel free to contact us at any time to schedule your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Emily Pollard. She’ll sit down with you, listen to your concerns, and develop a fully personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your ultimate aesthetic goals.
